Bitten

If I don’t get bitten by you

Then I would get bitten by him

If I don’t get bitten by you

Then I would get bitten by her

If I don’t get bitten

I wouldn’t feel a thing

Is it because I’m so used

To getting bitten?

Bitten, bitten, bitten

Always getting bitten

So many wounds to heal

Maybe one day I will feel

Someday I’ll learn to bite back

I’ve been told I have a sharp tongue

Then I wonder what my teeth could do

Unbeknown, trialled and true

I could sink my teeth into you
