Dark Clouds

Dark clouds surround who you are

They shower from above us

Cover the light from above us

Leave shadows cast across stone floors

With rain that bursts from above

They shield the light in the sky

And cast shadows

On the floor we walk on

Together we could live in peace

But your grey skies

That and we’ve come to realise

That some days you have dark clouds

And some days you have grey skies

And we’re learning that you can have both

And there is the same either way you look

And that they are two sides

To the way you see the same to the same skies

We all have grey skies from time to time

But I guess it depends on the way you see your clouds in the sky
