it seems like I’m mourning for

something that I never quite got

and a feeling I almost had

it’s taken him sometime

to discover what’s underneath

what seems to live under the sheets

he fears others will see him

as a creep

what comes naturally to others

seems currently out of reach

he would try anything to fix his broken heart
